NEPA 1st Annual CHARITY CUP

The NEPA Charity Cup Arrives

After many months of waiting, the biggest Echo event of the year is just around the corner! Kicking off at 5pm central time on Friday, the Charity Cup benefiting the Special Olympics is bound to be three days full of fun and fierce competition at Busch Stadium in St. Louis.

Over 100 players are expected to participate in the professional and open brackets in hopes of taking home the championship crown for each division. Each open bracket team will be playing at least four matches so there will be plenty of action for everyone involved! For the fateful four teams who top the open bracket, there is a spot open against their professional colleagues in the pro bracket later in the weekend. Both events will have matches casted for our spectating fans and friends.

Spectator passes are free so if you’re in the area definitely come out and hang out with us in the spectacular Redbird Club. On top of lots of action all throughout the expansive space and scenic views of the ballpark and downtown, there will be ample food and drink for sale at the concession stand. Some seating will be available around the area, but be prepared for a packed house.

With as many as 64 virtual athletes loaded in at once throughout the stadium, this will be a one-of-a-kind competitive VR experience and hopefully the first of many NEPA events. We look forward to seeing you all both in person and spectating from afar as we continue to trailblaze new possibilities for NEPA and virtual reality at large. For the latest updates over the weekend, keep up with us on the official discord and our Twitter.

An early present for those joining us in person – a handy dandy map to get you right to the action.
